Technical Consultant –Mortgage Domain
About the role
As a Technical Consultant, you will make an impact by driving platform-based transformation engagements in the banking domain, ensuring successful product implementations and stakeholder alignment. You will be a valued member of our ISG Practice and work collaboratively with product vendors, clients, and internal teams to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Meeting clients, understanding objectives, gathering requirements, analysing current systems.
- Recommending, designing, customizing, and implementing hardware/software solutions.
- Creating reports, documenting processes, and training client staff/users on new systems.
Overall 8+ years of experience with
- In-depth knowledge of the primary language, its associated frameworks, libraries, and standard development tools.
- The ability to evaluate and guide system architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency within the chosen tech stack.
- Grasping complex concepts, understanding system architecture, working with APIs, databases (SQL), scripting, cloud tech.
- Expertise in build automation tools and version control systems like Git.
- Strong understanding and application of unit testing, integration testing, and knowledge of test‑driven development (TDD) principles.
- Ability to apply object‑oriented design principles and various design patterns to build scalable and maintainable applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and experience with designing and implementing microservices architecture.
Work model

- Experience in Integration Patterns (EIP)

- Experience in Message‑Oriented Middleware (JMS, ActiveMQ)
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
- Experience in Cloud (AWS, Azure)
