As a Senior Manual Test Analyst – Retail Systems & POS, you will:
- Design and execute detailed manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate end-to-end retail workflows including billing, inventory management, promotions, and transactions.
- Test Point of Sale (POS) systems, covering payments, refunds, receipts, and device interactions.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to resolution using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Ensure application quality through thorough validation of retail systems and workflows.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 10+ years of experience in manual testing with a strong focus on retail and POS systems.
- Solid expertise in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience in testing retail applications, including billing, inventory, and transaction workflows.
- Experience testing POS environments, including payment systems and peripheral device interactions.
- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and testing best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
You should possess the ability to:
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive and effective test scenarios.
- Identify edge cases and ensure complete coverage of retail workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide clear, actionable defect reports.
