Overview

The Director, Finance Supply Chain’s primary responsibilities will be the budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for all Supply Chain activities, while leading the strategic direction through a financial and customer experience lens. The individual will serve as the financial leader on the Supply Chain team and will provide leadership and direction to the Finance team and Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities

  • Manages budgetary control and cost forecasting.
  • Drives analysis and recommendations through business intelligence and reporting.
  • Provides Financial leadership and strategic direction to EMEA Supply Chain management team.
  • Improves the cost effectiveness of Supply Chain, consisting of owned operations and 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Drives strategic improvements in cost and services related to freight to stores and to our customers.
  • Controls multiple projects and complies with aggressive deadlines.
  • Builds a strong financial team through developing performance guidelines, delivering evaluations and coaching the team to improve performance.
  • Ensures compliance and accordance with all US GAAP requirements.
  • Assists Treasury in cash forecasting and internal leveraging.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid financial background and be comfortable with US and European accounting methods, as well as having a strong ability to setup and refine business processes.

  • Results driven individual with a track record of building first class teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a Finance team in Supply Chain with FP&A experience
  • Expert knowledge of Retail Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Master’s degree in Business or Finance or related experience
  • CPA/CA certified is required
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Experience with US GAAP Accounting.
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities.
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills in English.
