What will you do

  • Engineering Excellence: Convert technical product concepts into high‑quality CAD models (SolidWorks) that serve as the foundation for manufacturing.

  • Requirements Management: Translate commercial needs into technical specifications and validation plans, ensuring the final product meets the high standards of the Bugaboo and Joolz brands.

  • OEM Management: Outsource specialist work and supervise external engineers to ensure project quality; you are the technical gatekeeper for our supplier‑led engineering.

  • Testing & Validation: Supervise and assess test results to verify prototypes against requirements; you ensure our products meet technical standards as well as market and user needs.

  • Problem Solving: Identify design bottlenecks early and propose data‑driven solutions; you also tackle quality improvements for our existing product portfolio.

  • Process Leadership: Design and maintain our software management systems for CAD files and ensure all technical project documentation is meticulously recorded.

  • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technical developments in the industry, integrating new working methods and standards into our projects.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 0‑7 years of experience in product development, preferably within the premium durable consumer goods industry.

  • Technical Mastery: Excellent CAD modeling skills (SolidWorks) and a deep understanding of the "fuzzy front‑end" of concept development.

  • Supplier Savvy: Proven experience in outsourcing engineering and managing external partners/OEMs.

  • Prototyping Mindset: A practical, hands‑on approach; you don’t hesitate to build early‑stage prototypes to test your ideas.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities combined with a creative eye for design intent; you are a problem‑solver who can support choices with clear arguments.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
