Quality Assurance Officer

Our client is a well-established food production organisation with a modern packaging operation. The site runs high standards for quality, safety, and hygiene, and works with structured procedures to ensure products are packed correctly and consistently.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join the quality team. The role involves safeguarding the quality of finished products, raw materials, and production processes across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update quality processes and the quality manual in collaboration with the Quality & Environment Manager.
• Handle internal and external complaints related to production.
• Manage product holds and address quality issues within production workflows.
• Conduct process and product inspections to ensure compliance.
• Follow up on tasks outlined in the annual Quality & Environment plan.
• Act as a proactive leader, setting a good example for production staff and raising awareness of food safety and quality.
• Ensure continuous communication across departments to prioritize quality at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum MBO level, preferably with a degree in Food Technology.
• Experience in a similar QA role within the food industry is preferred.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Willingness to take on a senior role and act as a trusted support to the QA Manager.
