About Studocu:

Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, we make it easy for 60 million students across 120,000 institutions to share 50 million study resources (one new each second!). We even offer cutting‑edge AI learning tools such as Studocu AI and Class Recording on the Studocu app.

About this opportunity:

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to build AI‑native consumer products at scale across Studocu – shaping how 60 million students learn with AI.

Scope and Focus

The exact scope will be matched to your strengths and our priorities, with two strong skill areas: Studocu AI (turning students’ own materials into useful learning) and Communities (helping students learn from and with each other). Both are AI‑first products with significant room to define what they become.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Define and drive product strategy – identifying opportunities, setting direction, and turning them into features that deliver real user value.
  • Design AI‑native experiences together with design and engineering, defining how the AI behaves, gathers context, and produces useful outputs.
  • Raise the quality and learning impact of what students get from our products – we call it “Being the Benchmark.”
  • Improve how students contribute, share, and engage with content, whether their own materials or each other’s.
  • Run experiments and act on the results – analysing performance, learning fast, and iterating based on user behaviour and outcomes.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to apply new model capabilities in ways that move the product forward.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally on consumer products at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills – comfortable with data, experiments, and challenging assumptions.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI tools to improve your own work and workflows.
  • A solid grasp of modern AI product development (LLMs, retrieval, evals, latency/cost trade‑offs) – and the judgment to separate real value from hype.
  • Even better: a portfolio of product work you can share.
  • A strong product instinct – first‑principles thinking about user problems, growth, and distribution.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity – you can take a loosely‑defined area and turn it into a roadmap.
  • A pragmatic, outcome‑focused approach – you prioritise impact over output.

Other things that will make you the ideal candidate for us:

  • You’re currently a resident in the Netherlands, a commutable distance from our office in Amsterdam.
  • You’re someone who will enjoy coming to our office at least twice per week.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Awesome office in the centre of Amsterdam – with a garden.
  • Hybrid working policy – we’d love to see you in our office two days per week.
  • Free office lunch – prepared by Chef Valentijn – coffee, tea and snacks.
  • 24 holiday days – plus options to buy leave and take four weeks working abroad.
  • A work‑from‑home set‑up budget of up to €800.
  • Learning & Development budget of €2,500 per year.
  • Free in‑house Dutch lessons for those who want to learn.
  • Travel Card (NS Business), depending on where you’re living.
  • Pension scheme – we match your 2% contribution.
  • Stock‑equity scheme for the future.
  • Company boat trips and an open in‑office bar on Fridays.
  • OneFit sports‑subscription discount.
  • Your choice of Mac or Linux tech.
  • An epic annual company trip.
