Does code hold no secrets for you? Are you the go-to expert among your colleagues and do you naturally take the lead by setting the right example? Become a Senior Kotlin Consultant at iO and build exceptional applications for top brands like Bol, Jumbo, KLM, Port of Rotterdam, and Rabobank.
As a Senior Kotlin Consultant, you'll work within the in-house teams of leading brands. With your in-depth knowledge and experience, you take the leading role in project teams and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. They rely on your code, vision, and input as a senior developer. But it doesn't stop there: you elevate other team members to a higher level by guiding, motivating, and inspiring them to excel.
You ensure that projects are not only technically solid but also contribute maximally to your clients' business objectives. From concept to impact: you're involved in the entire journey.

You don't just work at the client site—you remain closely connected with your iO colleagues. At least once a week, you come together to catch up, share knowledge, and learn from each other. You'll join a team of experts who will advance your career.

Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Kotlin Developer
Experience working with and at enterprise organizations
Solid experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST, integration testing, and Microservices
Database knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
Experience with CI/CD, AI tooling, accessibility, Kafka, NodeJS, or other back-end languages/frameworks is a plus
You enjoy coaching developers in their technical and soft skills and naturally take the lead
You speak fluent Dutch and/or English
