Head of Rewards & Performance | Global Retail Business | Permanent

Are you a seasoned Reward professional ready to take ownership of a high-profile global remuneration agenda? We’re partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed retail business to find an exceptional Head of Rewards & Performance to join their Global HQ.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the reward and performance strategy of a business across 20+ countries — a company with the scale of a global enterprise and the energy of a founder-led business.

The Role

You will own the end‑to‑end annual compensation and performance cycle, lead pay benchmarking and review processes, support executive reward matters, and define the company’s Performance strategy. You’ll also have oversight of long‑term incentive plans and manage a wider Reward team on global programmes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the design and delivery of the annual pay review cycle, including benchmarking and analysis
  • Owning the annual compensation and performance activity calendar
  • Preparing offers and termination agreements for senior management roles
  • Supporting executive reward and general reward matters across the business
  • Managing long‑term incentive plans for the senior population
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and best practice in reward design
  • Leading ad hoc reward projects and managing the wider Reward team

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Compensation & Benefits or Reward, ideally within a retail or consumer-facing business
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high proficiency in Excel and broader Microsoft Office
  • Experience of executive compensation is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate at pace in an ambiguous environment
  • A self‑starter mentality with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for the reward space
