Are you a product leader who starts with the customer problem—not the feature request? Do you understand key supply chain areas such as demand planning, inventory, network design, and S/OP/IBP (among others), and know how to turn real-world complexity into strong software products? If you enjoy creating clarity, aligning teams, and shaping direction, this role at AIMMS could be a great fit.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

This is a new, strategically important role with direct impact on how AIMMS shows up in the market. Today, our supply chain capabilities are delivered through two solutions:

  • SC Navigator + modules (ready-to-use solutions)
  • Optimization Tooling (to build custom optimization applications)

These have historically been managed separately—and customers can feel that. Your mission is to unify our supply chain offering into one cohesive, outside-in product story and roadmap: an AI-augmented decision platform that helps customers accelerate, scale, and differentiate.

Your Role & Impact

In this role, you will:

  • Elevate product thinking – Introduce clarity, prioritization, and product discipline in a growing environment.
  • Be the voice of the customer – Ensure decisions are grounded in real needs and measurable value.
  • Own and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with the CPTO – Setting a clear, differentiated direction rooted in customer outcomes and market needs.
  • Drive the roadmap – Build and prioritize a high-impact roadmap across both solution areas, aligned with business goals.
  • Operate as Product Owner – Manage the SC Navigator backlog and work closely with engineering on delivery.
  • Lead discovery and innovation – Translate customer insights and trends (e.g., resilience, nearshoring, AI-driven planning) into product decisions.
  • Shape pricing and packaging – Define modules, bundling, and pricing to drive adoption and differentiation.
  • Align teams and drive execution – Act as the central point of alignment across engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
  • Measure and improve outcomes – Define and track KPIs such as retention, churn, and time-to-value.
  • Partner with leadership – Work directly with the CPTO on priorities, trade-offs, and investment decisions.

What Will Help You Thrive and Be Successful

You combine strong supply chain expertise with modern product thinking—and you’re comfortable creating clarity in complex environments.

You bring:

  • Deep supply chain experience (essential) – Hands-on experience in operations, consulting, or implementation, with a strong understanding of real-world constraints. Preferably in Supply Chain Optimization and Network Design.
  • Customer focus – You dig into the “why” and translate needs into scalable solutions.
  • Product Management / Ownership experience – Experience working with Agile teams, managing roadmaps, and maintaining a high-quality backlog.
  • Strategic thinking – Ability to connect customer insight, market dynamics, and business goals into a clear direction.
  • Data-driven mindset – Comfortable using metrics and insights to guide decisions.
  • AI literacy – Understanding of how AI/ML applies to planning and optimization, and ability to engage on use cases like copilots and recommendations.

You are:

  • A strong communicator who aligns teams across functions
  • Someone who brings structure without slowing things down
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity
  • Clear and decisive when making trade-offs
