Senses is a dynamic and intimate fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Amsterdam, featuring an open kitchen where culinary art is created every day. As a proud member of JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, Senses is recognized as one of the top fine dining restaurants in the Netherlands.
We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who not only guides our guests on an unforgettable food and wine journey but also plays a key role in leading our hospitality team.
Your Role
As Restaurant Supervisor, you ensure that every guest leaves with a truly memorable experience. You combine your wine expertise with strong leadership skills, helping to elevate both our team and the guest experience at Senses.
Daily Responsibilities:
Creating, managing, and presenting the wine list and wine pairings that complement our seasonal menu.
Advising and informing guests about wines, and providing exceptional wine service.
Supervising, coaching, and inspiring the service team; leading by example in hospitality.
Assisting with staff scheduling and coordinating the daily operations.
Working hands-on as host/hostess: welcoming guests and ensuring top-level service.
Collaborating closely with the Chef and management team to evaluate and continuously improve quality and guest experience.
What We Expect From You:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fine dining restaurant.
Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role within hospitality.
Fluent in Dutch or English (spoken and written).
Living in or near the Amsterdam area.
A positive, energetic personality who thrives in hospitality and motivates others.
